The event will take place from the 19.10 to the 23.10.2026.

There will be more research group slots, their time slots are just not decided yet. For the research groups already scheduled, there may be slight time changes due to room availability.

FAQ
- Whats the Orientation Week? It’s a week intented for connecting with your fellow students and finding friends, organised by your student council. There are a few informational events, where you’ll learn important tipps for the first semester, and lots of chill events intented for pure fun.
- How can I find the rooms? Here’s an interactive site plan of the whole Göttingen campus: https://lageplan.uni-goettingen.de/
- Is it a problem if I can’t be there the whole time? Not at all! Just join again when you can. If you don’t know where to meet up, ask your fellow students or tutors.
- What’s Awareness? We want everyone to be comfortable and feel safe. We expect you to not harass, exclude, or pressure anyone. If you feel unsafe or unsure, our Awarness Team is there for you. You can either call the Awarness Phone or ask an Awarness Tutor (with the pink Shirts).
- Whats the deal with alcohol? At some of our events, we will offer alcohol (mostly beer), at others there will be none, as marked in the plan. We would like to ask you to not bring private alcohol to the alcohol-free events, and to not pressure people to drink. That way, everyone can have a good time :)
